We stopped in for dinner at 7pm on a Saturday. We were seated right away in the bar so we didn’t have to wait for a table. The waitress was attentive and very knowledgeable about the food. My husband and I were satisfied with our meals and very full when we left.
Horrible Service. Terrible service. Right at an hour from ordering till food arrival, even though it wasn’t that busy. To be fair, it appeared there was only one server and the hostess. Had to flag the waitress down for refills and even they were slow. Food was decent, certainly nothing to brag about, especially for the price. Don’t sit in the bar area if you want a quiet, relaxing meal.
What a mess. 50 minutes’ wait between appetizer and entree, sullen, confused hostess; don’t bother.
Horrible. Embarrassingly horrible. Rude service, clueless hostess. Over 50 mins elapsed between first course and main.course. when food came it was cold and greasy, very bland. It is also extremely overpriced for what it is. Many staff have rude and condescending attitudes like you are intruding on their space and time. One waitress was draped over the hostess’ station talking for ages withe her. There are plenty of better places in Damariscotta. Just dreadful. Definitely avoid.
Decent burger, nice atmosphere. Cool bar, good music, nice staff. Burger was good – salad better. Conveniently located within walking distance from Schooner Landing, so if you are going out to see a live band in Damariscotta, this is a good choice for dinner prior to the show.
Love the food. Lots of good choices on the menu.
Great pub fare. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. It can get quite busy around dinner time. I especially love their burgers.
