We stopped here on our way to Boothbay. Was pleasantly surprised with the beer choices & the menu. The comfort food filled with lobster was something we couldn’t pass up. The lobster quesadilla was packed full of buttery delicious lobster meat! My husband had the lobster grilled cheese and loved that as well, but said my quesadilla was better.
I was disappointed with my visit to Sarahs Cafe last night. My food was an hour late, and it was cold by the time it finally arrived. The staff looked bored, un energetic, and tired.I will not be returning to this restaurant.
It was okay (6 out of 10 rating)… Burger was really good but our fries were burned. Then when we ordered the blueberry pie it looked like they just dumped whatever was leftover on to a plate (blueberry pie was runny– def not the best we have had)
Always Stop. BEST calzones catering is top notch
Perfection in a charming location. I didn’t read the reviews before my visit. I didh have the lobster roll and it was fantastic. I am not a lobster roll connoisseur, but my roll was excellent. The roll and the meat were yummy. My recommendation is to sit on the deck. Good view with a nice breeze.
Don’t order the lobster roll. I’ve been eating lobster rolls in Maine all my life and was astounded to find celery filler in the lobster roll I ordered at Sarah’s. If I hadn’t been in a hurry (we arrived at lunch peak time and had a long wait) I would have sent it back. Other food was fine, but celery in a lobster roll is just not done!
Fun, down to earth. Liked this, quirky, inexpensive cafe in centre of Wiscasset. Very good service, lovely waitress, it was fun and unassuming. Food good and not presumptuous.
