Disappointed long term customer. I have been eating at Cervesas for the last 4 years and the past two times I have eaten their I have received old dried rice that was flavorless and gross. Tonight I ordered two dishes with beef and to say the least you can’t even tell if it is beef. It was sour and smelled horrible and the taste was even worse. Feeling disappointed in the recent changes in their quality!!
Best Mexican in Central Maine. We live in southern Maine, and dine in Portland and Boston on a weekly basis so we were surprised to find our favorite restaurant in Newport! One more reason to come up to camp. We have been eating at Cervesa’s for over 5 years and have had nothing but fresh, delicious food at great prices, delivered with great service. The owner is in the store, making sure everything is right, and that makes all the difference.
AMAZING. The best Southwestern food EVER!!! Best service, Best Food, Best Atmosphere!!! Great family restaurant, something on the menu for everyone. I go often and tell everyone it is a must.
This is not Mexican food I spoke to the owner and she said that she doesn’t like Mexican food that she’s making something that Mainers would like. No thank you.
From the outside, I wasn’t very impressed but once inside that all changed and the food was great.
Yummy!!. We love this place!! We go there as often as we can. It’s probably a good thing we don’t live any closer or I would never cook again! We have never been disappointed, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is awesome, the staff is very friendly and make you feel at home.
Sucks. My family owns 3 RESTAURANTS that been in business since the 60’s ans still very successful as ever! The comments that say this place is great, they are wrong! I think they say its great food because there is no other choice within a half an hour. the drinks taste like there is no alcohol in them( watched them as they carefully not put much in them) and they limit it to 2 drinks), I would stick to beer if you go, they can’t mess that up. and the food is o.k. not poor, but not authentic, taste like it was carefully crafted from Sysco. I tried multiple meals and have yet to find anything that was worth going back for. If you are stuck in the Newport area I would go, but if you can drive try one in Bangor, they have a couple of Southwestern Grill Cantina’s that are much more authentic. I give Cervesas 2 out 5 stars!
