I second that: Best Coffee in Portland. While it is still here order a pour-over of the Sumatra coffee and drink it black.Swish it around your mouth, aerate it and swallow. It is a revelation of coffee.
Great for Desserts. I had a peanut butter bar that tasted like my favorite homemade dessert from childhood! So rich! So buttery! I probably should’ve have eaten the whole thing. My half-caff. americano was an 8/10. A little earthier and more bitter than I’d prefer, but not bad, especially for half-caff.I really wanted to try the Dark Chocolate Noir Sorbetto and Brownie Batter Gelato! oversharielle.com
Rude service. The only item without sugar was a croissant& no butter or spread to go with it.
Yum!. LOVE Bard Coffee. Service is AWESOME and drinks are equally delicious.
Best Coffee in Portland!. I have been sampling soy lattes all over Portland, and Bard is, by far, the best one. hands down. No competition. Usually i’m just running there before work, but when i do have time to sit down, (and am able to find a seat) having an in-house latte is a wonderful break from the day.
Week selection and I asked for decaf and god a regular people dident seem to care about there jobs and a lot of junkies from the park lurking around
Bard takes coffee seriously, to the benefit of it’s customers. Excellent French press and American blends and single origin. Due respect for the art of cappuccino. The espressos I’ve had show ample, if dark, crema, delivered nicely in a warm ceramic cup, but veer too tart and acidic for me. Big comfy couches help soften a somewhat oversized space. Kudos for indicating which beans are organic, fair trade, etc.
