Had to wait for almost an hour to get seated for breakfast, but when we sat down our orders were taken quickly and our food was served quickly. The pumpkin pancakes were delicious and the special of biscuits and gravy was flavorful and the potatoes crispy.

Had planned another establishment but found it was closed due to the holiday. Read the reviews and decided to give Becky’s a try. Food was great, diverse selection, we tried the lobster, haddock cooked a variety of ways, the salmon and the clams. Everyone was pleased. Waitress was awesome, too. Many others were having breakfast for dinner. Decided we need to come back and try the breakfast.

As a breakfast lover, it’s hard for me to give 5-stars, but this place earned it. If you love fresh fruit, I highly recommend the fruit bowl. I have never tasted such fresh fruit! Kiwis, bananas, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, oranges, blueberries – it was filled to the brim! The omelets are delicious too – and beware of extra costs (i.e. if you want egg whites only, they charge for that). The wait is worth it! theglobetrotterfoodie.wordpress.com

I ate here because of the good reviews I read. I had the special haddock chowder. It was very good. Then I had the crab and Swiss cheese grilled sandwich. I found the crab was flavorless. It needed salt and pepper or other seasoning. I was disappointed. My husband had the fried haddock sandwich which he liked very much.

Perfect spot for breakfast on a cold New England morning. The attentive staff will keep your coffee flowing, and do so with genuine smiles. Very reasonably priced, and delicious diner fare. If the homemade corner beef hash is available, don’t even think, just order it. You will have a new found appreciation, especially if you’ve only had the canned variety in the past!

Good Service but marginal food. If you are looking for a cheap diner feel with out a single bell or whistle, this is for you. If you’re looking for quality food and a unique local breakfast items, look elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend it for tourists.
