This is my new go-to frozen dessert place! They serve big portions of great tangy, locally sourced/made frozen yogurt at a fair price. They have a great variety of toppings that compliment their ever changing / rotating flavors. I love it here when the weather is warm or even in the stormy cold winter- it’s a great refreshing place to grab a sweet treat in the Old Port.
Love it!. This place is awesome. I work in the Old Port and stop by all the time. Love the locally sourced yogurt that they make on site. I think the mango and nutella have been my favorites. Their smoothies are excellent, and their staff is super friendly.
Great Place!!!. I work in the Old Port and found this place on my lunch break one day. They had four yogurt flavors, made fresh in the store, with local milk and yogurt! Creative flavors, too, like Blood Orange and Nutella, which rotate frequently.I got a raspberry/ nutella twist with fresh fruit on top. So good! They have all of the candy goodies as well, which is great when I’m looking for something different. Unique toppings, too, like mochi, candied ginger, and sugar smacks. I thought the small was more than enough, and it was a great healthy alternative to other desserts. What makes it even better is the store’s partnership with local farms and businesses! The store was clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful – I spent some time chatting with them about their store and everyone was very friendly…it was great to hear about a new local business opening up here in town. Can’t wait to see this place in the summer!
Disappointed. I was so thrilled to hear GoBerry was opening in the Old Port. A great frozen yogurt place was well over due in Portland. While I love that they use dairy from Smiling Hill farms, I felt the pricing and portions a little underwhelming. $1 for a single topping seemed a little steep for such a light sprinkling. Particularly on lower-cost items such as sprinkles, cookies etc. Especially when you can walk down the road to the Maine Squeeze and get a huge smoothie of fresh ingredients for less. Makes it a much more appealing healthy alternative to ice cream….
Amazing!. I love GoBerry – even on a rainy day it is so comforting and tasty. The original with berries is my favorite. I am so glad they opened up in the old port – right around the corner from my work! I will be going back for sure.
