Delicious gelato and great service! A little bit on the pricey side but it’s in that kind of neighborhood and it was worth it. I tried the rum chocolate and sea-salted caramel and honestly couldn’t decide so I got both in one dish.
As soon as you walk in you begin a wonderful experience. I tried six flavors and each was given a descriptive explanation of the components of each! The service is great and the gelato is so creamy and so flavorful. My only issue was it was a tad warm inside but the music was great and the space is very clean-I can’t wait to come back!
They make absolutely amazing cannolis! It’s hard to find a good one in Maine and they’ve completely nailed it! Go get one (or six)! Can’t wait to go back.
The gelato a here were amazing! Ice cream / gelato a don’t usually impress me but this place was truly great. Loved their gorgeous gelato could have gone back for more!
Delicious!. The gelato here is AMAZING! The dark chocolate was to die for, and the salted caramel was creamy and delicious. Another commenter said something about the owner not wanting to offer two flavors in a cup — many others in the shop with us had two flavors, and he’s the one who offered it as an option to us. He offered several tastes as well! Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Will definitely go back the next time we’re in Portland — wouldn’t miss it!
Amazing! The last time I had gelato this good was in Lake Como. If I closed my eyes I could have been transported! The owners are very accommodating and will give you samples of their yummy products. Good anytime of year!
A taste of Italia!!!. We have been big fans of Gelato Fiasco, so we had never tried Gorgeous Gelato until tonight. There was a huge crowd of people in Fiasco tonight though, so fortunately, we walked across the street and tried out the amazing gelato at Gorgeous Gelato. I had the Bacio (Chocolate Hazelnut) and Hazelnut flavors and having been to Italy in the past, I have to say that I felt like I was literally back in Italia! It was fabulous and delicious and they are so friendly at Gorgeous Gelato (not that they aren’t at Fiasco, of course!) Now I will have a very hard time deciding between the two. Don’t miss this gem of a dessert place. 🙂
