LOVED IT! It’s got a fun, funky, dive feel to it. The beer list is huge and features tons of local microbrews. The chicken bbq nachos were one of the most delicious things I’ve had in awhile and our burgers were good (albeit super well done even though we asked for medium)
You Can’t Not Like This Place. I have always loved the food at the Great Bear ! I love their own special cheese sauce & hamburgers. They also have great salads too.THe food is accurately priced & the cocktails are excellent. I highly recommend The Great Lost Bear !!!!!
GLB. Comfortable like an old sneaker (and probably as smelly in a few areas….could use a dusting). Food is decent/simple pub and beer selection is excellent. Wouldnt change it for the world.
This is a local favorite for people in the Portland area. The wings here are top notch as is the buffalo Mac and cheese and vegetarian sandwiches. The only thing not great here are the nachos because there are not enough chips and way too much cheese and onions. Try anything else and you won’t be disappointed.
Our party of 13 just left the Great Lost Bear, frustrated and annoyed! We had terrible service, ridiculous wait time for meals and drinks, they wouldn’t create separate checks for our party and then processed the payment incorrectly! From when we had to flag the waiter down to get our bill (20 min after he cleared our table) to when the payment was processed took 40 minutes! We arrived at 7:30 and left at 10:15! This was insanity and one of the 4 young children that were in our party fell asleep waiting for the check! The food was good, but not great, the atmosphere was dark and outdated, the menu was overwhelming. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless it was for a beer at the bar, they have a decent selection of beers.

Beary Delicious. Strong drinks, monumentally cheesy nachos, decadently smooth cheese cake. I would go again.
