The oysters are left out behind the bar already opened with all the oyster liquor spilled out. I would not even order these oysters after they are exposed to all those germs from the bartenders. The drinks were not made very well and the clam chowder was over priced for its quality

Rigth on the water, this is a very rundown place, need some love, the food is ok the lobster roll has a lot of lobster, but need some flavor, good portion for the price…

Love this place but over twenty minutes to get a menu and then more than ten minutes for the check after asking for it. Service is awful. Smells like a sewer, too.

Did not have food as advertised, no corn on the cob, substituted Cole slaw… Had lobster. It was good. That’s it. Nothing special. I’ll try it again another day.

The restaurant was recommended by a local. I expected great food at reasonable prices. In general the food was mediocre . The crab salad had shredded, tasteless crab with a side of potato salad that was bland and tastedLike it was made with old oil. The fish chowder had nice fish but was bland. Oysters were fresh but I had much better quality in Porlland

What they do, they do well. The freshest oysters, clams, lobster, raw or steamed to perfection, without much adulteration. You have to love how un-trendy this place is, from the menu to the dim lighting and wood panelling. A world away from the Commercial St. tourist traps.

Perfect. Just what your looking for in a port town….great seafood, fantastic atmosphere……loved it!!!…I’m actually standing outside in the rain tonight trying to get in!!!..LOved by tourists and the locals!!
