Or word. AWESOME! if you like beer you’ll love this place. My husband and I came here on our anniversary trip and came back a second night. Portland has an awesome night life! We came during a cask night where there were casks of beer from any region! Awesome!
The best beer bar in Portland, period. Great food and a fantastic staff.

Wow. All I can say is Wow. The beer selection is amazing!
Not Just for Beer. In the past couple of years, I have been to Novare for beers many, many times and yesterday evening was the first time I have sampled their food. The beer menu is vast and the food menu is not, but that is just fine because the few food items that my husband and I tried were spot on. I ordered the turkey panini and my husband got the spring sandwich, both came with a small side salad. As soon as the food came we swapped a sandwich so we each got to try both. My fav was the spring sandwich; I absolutely loved the rosemary ham and the onion jam! My other half preferred the turkey. Both sandwich and salads were gone in about five minutes. Novare is a great place to get drinks with friends and its always fun to try one of the ever changing beers on draught and, who knew, it’s a great place to grab a yummy sandwich!
A beer keller that’s just full of awesome! Daily changing tap selection, great bottles and a few casks. Strongest pub menu I’ve seen in years including a meat and cheese bar, shrimp tacos, and choc truffles…This place doesn’t suck!
