Worst meal we’ve had in years! Salt. Salt. Salt. The fish stew ($18) was almost inedible. The burger also so… salty. And the brussel sprouts — also salt salt salt.I told the waitress that it was inmost inedible, but to no effect. We were charged full fare for the meal, and left … needing to catch a ferry. But I immediately tried to call the restaurant and talk to the manager . . . only to have the phone ring and ring and ringf.RiRa was near the top of our list. No more. It’s got a great view, and fine Guiness, but from this last experience not much more.
Ri Ra – Surprisingly great food, nice harbor views and atmosphere. My family ate at this Irish Pub recently. While the menu was small, everything we ordered was delicious. Being an Irish Pub, most of the menu was either sandwiches or burgers – but there were some surprises such as the seafood chowder (HUGE portion) and other unusual choices. Decent appetizers, and good drink choices (beer, ale, and many others). Service was terrific, place was clean. Nice atmosphere, and we enjoyed the view of the harbor from a 2nd floor window. I dislike small restaurants – so enjoyed the fact that this place is rather spacious. You can eat on 1st or 2nd floor, and there is also outdoor eating areas. This includes a back patio overlooking (and right on top of) the water. Prices – admit (imo) a little pricey. Still, highly recommend and we enjoyed our meal and time there.
