Great night out. Wife and I, cold winter night, excellent food, well priced. Real pleasant surprise. Had heard good things – all true. Highly recommend.

Very disappointing. The hostess wasn’t very friendly and I saw the cook step out of the kitchen with a scowl on his face. I think that scowl got into the food. My spinach and shrimp risotta came without spinach?! How does that happen? My friend’s meals looked unappetizing and none of us took home our leftovers, of which there were plenty because the servings were grossly oversized and under tasty.

Fabulous fare at fair price!! Cozy atmosphere and attentive staff.

Been to many Italian restaurants across US. Portland ME has numerous really good restaurants, this one doesn’t meet the mark for me!I had the braised gnochi which tasted like fried potatoes(very heavy). The beet salad a special for the night was the best part of our meal

Simply very good. Started with the antipasto app. Plenty for two and some eclectic items you would not find elsewhere.I had the whitefish and my date had the special. Fish is cooked in a light tomato based sauce with mild spices but allows the fish flavor to come through.Homemade pasta and sausage with with beans and a light with sauce on the special. Flourless Chocolate cake for dessert. Why do they serve this as in most places, cold? Allow it to be at room temp. and serve it so you can eat it with a fork and not have to cut it with a knife. It also allows the chocolate to flavor better. It did taste good after the meal, but it is something that must be made offsite.Super value for money, and I’ll go again.

Seating is tight but the food was wonderful! Super friendly staff, great price, food is really fresh (i had the gnocchi hubby had scallops). Hidden jewel 😉

Service was slow but decent. Had a app of the calamari, very disappointing, lacked seasoning and Aoli was not good. Main entre sizes were decent but lacked any seasoning and flavor was uhhhh. Overall a disappointing night, probabaly will not return for a second try.
