I made a quick visit to Sebago for a pint while passing some time in Portland. I had a pint of the rye, which hit the spot. The establishment is well kept, and the bar staff is friendly. I did not try the food, however, the menu did look appealing.
Good, but not great. Outdoor seating was a little harsh with road traffic and sun. Indoors was refrigerated, but plentiful and clean. We just had time for an appetizer and a sampler. Our favorite beers were the hallertau and the red. The fried haddock bites and pickle chips left a lot to be desired…. Sad since these are two of my favorite things!
Awesome [in house] beers on tap – I got the black bean burger on a lettuce wrap and it was exactly as promised – solid restaurant all around and great for families or a quieter place for good conversation. massmusings.com
Solid meal, great beer, awesome service. I ordered the Mac & cheese with grilled chicken and thought it was excellent. The Red Ale was also good. Reasonably priced for a brew pub. Nice atmosphere.
Sebeago is our go to place for a late meal and drinks! One of the few places that are open late and serves good food. Good chicken wings and good beer!
We arrived in Portland really late and EVERYTHING was closed. After 7, yes 7, failed attempts to eat, we ended up here and thank god we did. Our server was super friendly even though it’s almost midnight… He was very accommodating to my husbands lactose allergy and was very knowledgable. The bacon mac and cheese is exactly what I wanted it to taste like. Overall great experience, thank you.
Beer. ..beer. ..beer!. Wonderful selection of draft beers. Always a flavor for every taste. The food is very good also. Seafood chowder and shrimp stir fry tonight.
