Decided to stop here after I got a new drivers license as it was very close by. I hadn’t had Thai food since moving here and I know there are a lot of options in the Portland area. Ordered a vegetarian Pad Thai. It was lunch so it came with a soup and some mini spring roll-looking items which were pretty good. The soup looked like some sort of egg drop soup but it was rather gelatinous and I did not care for it. The Pad Thai was too sweet – most likely due to the pineapple they make it with which I found strange as I have never had Pad Thai made with pineapple. It was also soupy and had exactly ONE piece of broccoli in it along with a couple pieces of carrot/mushroom/green & red peppers. All in all there may have been 10 pieces of vegetable in the entire dish. The noodles were perfectly cooked however. Went with the #3 spice level which was perfect for me and I like spice. Overall the place was ok and I would try something different if I went back to make any final decisions. Oh –and if you are looking for warm and fuzzy customer service this won’t be the place for it. But they do their job and that’s all you need.

Turns out Veranda Thai wasn’t answering their phone (which they do when they get really busy) so he got food from another restaurant. I could tell within a few bites!
