Whole Foods in Portland has a fantastic selection of wines and spirits and an excellent salad bar. Their employees are the best and all are extremely knowledgeable. The only thing I miss, which WF seems to have done away with are free samples that used to be more prevalent in the past. The Portland WF has a small bar at the far end of the venue where you can consume lots of different micro brews, which is a decided plus especially after you finish shopping. I also appreciate that you can bottle your own kombucha by either the bottle or half gallon.
