It is with great regret that our favourite Japanese restaurant with usually impeccable service is no longer on our favourites list. Miserable Inattentive and rude server. They missed vital ingredients from our meal and didn’t apologise. Sad. I hope they change their servers as the good is still pretty good.
Summer time sushi. This a fun little place to eat sushi in the warmer weather, outside, on the deck, by the bonsai garden/fountain. There were little birds splashing around in the water and it made my day. Good sushi too.
My husband and I have tried every sushi place in Portland, and by far this is the freshest place. We always come back here and are never disappointed. The chefs are fast, accurate and personable, as well as the wait staff. There isn’t enough good things to say about Yosaku. 🙂 Higly recommend.
Always fresh, excellent prompt service, and never dissatisfied. My husband and I have been to all the sushi restaurants in Portland. Time and time again we always come back here. Just excellent.
Rolls were more like rolls with solid rice.

Service?. I had heard good things from friends but last night was a disaster. We made reservations for two people and when we arrived we were seated right away, however, we waited 25 minutes for someone to even come take our drink order. In fact, we had to ask someone if they could help us. The miso soup was the best part of the meal and the sushi was average. We won’t be back.
