I wanted to like this place……. I had read about this place on here and had made up my mind that I was going to go enjoy a breakfast out. Not so much, we were greeted very nicely and the waitstaff this day was very nice and attentive to us. So plus to them there. The menu was different, breakfast served all day, but the items are listed in the back. Not a problem, just different. I was however given time between what I was going to order and placing my order. I like to order things that I might not make for myself or something that I have not had in awhile. I had decided on pancakes with some strawberries, however just before taking my order I looking into the kitchen and saw the pancake batter, muffin batters and things of this sort, they were all boxed mixes from Kruteaz! Things I could, but would never, buy at the grocery store. My heart sank, so I quickly regrouped looking at the menu, and ordered the sausage gravy over a biscuit with the home fries. The amount of salt and the unbelievable amount pepper in this dish rendered my taste buds inactive for 8 hours after this. Actually had to get a glass of water to get it down. As for the atmosphere, pictures of burning buildings and people losing their homes is NOT a cozy environment. Just a little morbid actually. Will I go back, maybe. Lunch is always an option and I can sit at the 4 person bar and watch Rachel Ray.
Great little place to eat! Breakfast all day, seafood, foods like mom used to make like meatloaf and shepards pie! My boyfriend LOVES their 1/2 pound burgers. Quick and friendly waitstaff, and affordable prices. Highly recommend!
This place is the best!! Always great food and the people that work there are awesome. My girlfriend fell in love with their breakfast (her absolute favorite meal) and always begs me to take her whenever she comes to visit! Great little place that isnt overcrowded or overpriced. Try it out. I guarantee you wont leave a huge dent in your pocket and will walk out with a full stomach.
First time will be the last. I went here with some friends. I order a Grilled Cheese, On Rye with cheddar cheese with a slice of Tomato and Onions, with a Side of French Fries with Ranch Dressing. My Friend Ordered just a simple Pancake. My Grilled Cheese was on White bread, full of grease, made with LOTS of Onions, and American Cheese on White bread, Barley melted. French fries were some like from McDonalds and Not cooked thoroughly. My friends Pancake was Raw in the center.
In agreement with previous reviewers. Very good.
I wish this was in Saco. It was really really good, I loved it and want to go back again and again
Delicious food, great little atmosphere and terrific people. This was our first time there but definitely will not be the last! The food was not only delicious but came out very quick. We don’t live in the town but stopped on our way by and my children both said I wish this was closer to us and have vowed we need to make this a weekly trip for breakfast, which speaks volumes when kids are willing to travel 35-45 minutes for breakfast 🙂
