Waitresses are attentive. I wish they had more non-fried items. They don’t have a bar either. The ambience isn’t great since they are usually crowded. It’s a family restaurant that’s child friendly.

Overall a good place, right on the highway and easy to find. Reasonably priced, however we waited for a table at 6 pm for 20 minutes, then once seated and our meals had been ordered we waited another 20 at least. Very slow service but the food was decent tasting.

This place is a bastion of mediocrity. If you want an idea what life is going to be like in a nursing home, this is the place for you. Much of the clientele was probably in grade school when they last decorated. I had a clam chowder which was edible not much more. The Turkey club had the most tasteless tomatoes I’ve ever had (I think they had been frozen). My friend had the house burger, which looked nasty with orange cheese two patties side by side on a hot dog bun. I will keep driving by next time I’m in Skowhegan.

So many awards!. This was the best meal, I have had in a while at a family diner. When I first saw the place it reminded me of a little home diner from my hometown, then I saw all their awards on the wall as you walk in. There must of been at least 15 or more. Very good home cooked meals. A nice diner atmosphere. Nice employees as well. Timely service.

When we saw the menu, we assumed no decent restaurant could handle such a diverse menu well. Then we saw the number of cars parked outside and figured we should try it. We were glad we did. Very reasonable prices, large portions and what I would consider better than diner food. We’ll go back.
