I’m really surprised that no one has reviewed this restaurant. If you’re traveling in this part of Maine, this has to be the best restaurant in many miles, and the prices are well below the norm. We shared an appetizer of baked brie served with a homemade preserve, crackers, apple slices, and a bunch of grapes. Ample for both of us for only $9. I ordered one of the three specials which was a seafood casserole with three scallops, three perfectly cooked shrimp and no less than 6 lobster claws (out of the shell) with some knuckles mixed in. This was served with some fresh zucchini and rice for $19 !!! My wife had the lobster ravioli which she said were clearly homemade, and the best she’s ever had, price: $18. The restaurant is associated with a playhouse and we stayed to watch the comedy presented that night. When advised that we were attending, our waitress said she could have dessert and coffee waiting for us at intermission. My wife had a slice of berry pie and I had what they called Boston Cream Pie. The berry pie was homemade and wonderful. The Boston Cream was really a round of cake, topped with a creme anglaise, all coated with chocolate. Each dessert was only $6. Don’t miss this gem.
