  Went in to vittles and sat down at one of the booths. The waitress took my order and went back behind the bar. She then decided to wash the floor on her knees with her hands and a rag. Not waiting long she brought me my food with out washing her hands. The food was very cold and almost like it was warmed up. I never could get the attention of the waitress again thru the whole meal. So I had to eat the to jumbo tenders with a tiny thing of sauce while the waitress talked to the other waitress about her tips behind the bar. She never asked to refill my drink either. I finished my meal and she did not even bring me my bill I waited and waited until I was completely irritated. I finally got up and walked over to the register to pay and she had lost my order. She then decided to to rewrite it. She rings me up I pay with debit and on the receipt their is a place to leave a tip I leave it blank and hand it to her. She then looks to the receipt to see the tip and smacks her lip and gives me a dirty look. This is the worst restaurant I have ever went to in my life. If you get the heavy set blonde waitress run for the door and lick the side walk your guaranteed to have a better experience.

  Vittles. Found this place on the way up 95 N on the way to Bar Harbor. Excellent food. Great service. Definitely worth the stop.

  Nice!. The Food was Excellent! Also was the Service! We went their for the one night a week supper and was suprised by how wonderful the food was. They did a Great job! If looking for Somethin,g no need to drive to far for this gem!

  Excellent Food!. I come from San Francisco and I was so pleased when Vittles opened up. The food is great, the owner, Bob, will go out of his way to accommodate your needs. The waite staff is efficient and friendly. I love the home made ice cream and the great wraps. Vittles also caters which is great for office events and parties. What I really like is the quality of the food. It is clear that they keep their oil fresh and they know how to make food lushious without making it super fattening. Their home cut fries are cooked to perfection and the home made potatoe chips are wonderful. They could compete with any luncheon restaurant in California. In addition they have great breakfasts and I have not been there for dinner but everyone says it is a great experience of different kinds of exciting foods.Their prices are very fair and for most people the portions are big enough to split.

  Pleasantly surprised!. A little gem in an area where few shine. Dinner here was a welcome relief from many of the local portion-controlled, frozen-food, deep-fried eateries. I was not expecting much from the outside building appearance but was pleasantly surprised with great service, a menu of the day with a short list of specific entrees, and a clear attention to detail. The vegetable lasagna was excellent with a tasty red sauce. The homemade multi-berry ice cream was a treat. Coffee was excellent and neared an Italian roast flavor. Reports from fellow diners in our party were very favorable. There seemed to be a real concern by the owner that we were pleased with our meals.
