I like it here. The atmosphere. Nice big doors. Super clean floors. Burritos are hot. I get em a lot. You stand in a line. It’s worth the dime. The people are kind. Go see what you find.
Not what I expected. I honestly had no idea this is more or less a fast food place. Prices: reasonable I guess. Food: average. Service doesn’t apply, as you stand in line in a buffet style and tell them what you want. The line was huge. I had to wait at least 15-20 minutes before reaching the order counter, granted this was a Friday evening, but still ridiculous. I ordered a burrito. It was OK, my biggest complaint is that most of the food that is put into the burrito is cold. Only the chicken was warm. Rice, tomato salsa, etc – all cold. Don’t know about you, but I like a warm or even hot burrito. Wish they would offer to heat it up as you reach register. Atmosphere – acceptable, but there was not nearly enough seating for that many people. I noticed that many customers approaching from parking lot, upon seeing the line, quickly left. They were losing some business. Noticed a few others who were annoyed by the fact that there was not enough seating, and were forced to leave with their food and eat in car instead. This applied to me as well. During my wait in line, I also noticed none of the employees at any point came out to clean off tables… also not a good sign. Customers were forced to clean for themselves. Too many negatives – cannot give this place a thumbs up nor do I plan on going back.
I don’t know about South Portland, the Chipotle I visited is in Portland on the Westbrook line, in the shopping center across from Kohl’s. Fresh, built on the spot burritos, tacos, etc. Natural, local ingredients. Super-friendly staff. What’s not to like?
Fresh food and ingredients. Terrible employees. The place can be dead and they still won’t have basic ingredients ready such as lettuce. Three times in a row I have gone and cannot order a basic salad. Avoid this place unless you order online.
Mexican Subway, the food was fresh and the burrito I had was large but a little too spicy for my taste. Wish you could choose your own sauce. Found restaurant to be dirty. Tables not clean.
Delicious & Fresh!. My husband and I had lunch at Chipotle Mexican Grill and I loved it! I ordered a burrito w/spicy chicken, brown rice & loads of FRESH vegi’s. My husband ordered a bowl of the same ingredients (without the soft taco). This little restaurant is usually packed, but so worth the wait if you want a fresh mexican meal. I wish they would open one in Augusta! It is fast food, but healthy fast food!
