My wife and I were big fans of Otto pizza and ordered delivery at least once per week. 2 months ago we ordered and were told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. At the 50 minute mark we received a phone call stating it would take another 45 minutes and the pizza would be free due to the delay. We then found we had still been charged. I contacted the restaurant by phone and was told the manager would call me back which never occurred. I have sent an email that has yet to be responded to. I will never order from Otto again due to their crooked practices. UPDATE. I was notified that they would reverse the charge and they sent me a gift card as well. We will try again in the future.
Having arrived at our hotel late, we missed the last seating at the restaurant. In lieu of a sit down dinner, we ordered delivery from Otto’s which was recommended by the hotel staff. To our surprise, a large four cheese pizza was a hefty $21. We also learned that there was a $35 minimum for delivery, which seemed a bit excessive. We tacked on a couple extra salads and some beverages to stock our fridge. The pizza was good but not outstanding. The Caesar salad was OK, but served with a creamy bottled variety of dressing. While this was a decent, last minute option, I am not certain I would go out of my way to return to Otto’s if I find myself in Portland again.
