Was staying at Colby College for a work conference and we were very impressed with the good at 18 below. The basement ambiance is a little quirky, but the food more than makes up for it. My table got raw oysters and oysters Rockefeller as appetizers and they were both delicious. We all got seafood dishes, once again cooked to perfection and full of flavor. I am a fan of scallops, and the scallops I ordered were perfectly seared. The rest of the dish was great as well. We finished dinner with a homemade dessert which was once again very good. My only complaint would be that we never were given water. We did have a bottle of San pellegrino and all of us had alcohol drinks, however regular water seems like a very basic step at any meal. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant, and would go back.

Scallops and angel hair pasta pancakes yum, the rack of lamb looked great. Good beers and reasonable wine prices with good selection. Try this place, you’ll like it.
