Rebuttal. My wife and I go to this resturant whenever we want mexican done the real way. I have never had a bad meal there and I would like to share some observations with dave who obviouly has never had any mexican exept taco bell.No authentic Mexican uses cheddar they use queso which is white and runny but certainly not American cheese. Also fresh made salsa is more watery than the chunky stuff out of a jar at the grocery store. Not surprised you only liked the fried item. Learn about food before you trash someone’s livlihood.
Watery cheese with the nachos… Yuck! To be fair the entree (fajitas) was ok, service was nothing special though – long waiting time to be served.
Rude Staff. Well, started out with the staff sitting outside at 10 this morning Cat Calling the women as they walked by, after that didn’t want to eat lunch there, I think the owner was sitting outside with them. You should be able to go to work in the am without this humiliation, Grow Up, or go back where you came from
Finally a REAL MEXICAN RESTAURANT. Food was fantastic! Prices were affordable and atmosphere was nice.
Great food.. Very nice staff, great food. Beer/alcohol is pricey. Yet the margaritas are great making it worth it. Outside seating in the summer is a plus too!
Not good.. We went to Cancun based upon other reviews, but sorry to say, we don’t agree with the positive ones. The atmosphere is ok–a really big room. The staff friendly enough, but the food was not authentic. The guacamole was not from fresh avocados, the salsa food processed to be like italian tomato sauce with some spiciness. The cheese is American–in all dishes, not cheddar, and the rice is white with some tomato sauce mixed in. Really bland–and very salty. Also, the tomale dish with the enchilada was terrible. The beef in the tomale was very strange tasting-could not eat it. The chicken chimichanga was ok, but topped with packaged guacamole. I’m sure they mean well, but we won’t be going back.
Mexican Food = Wonderful. The margaritas, although pricey, were excellent! Bottomless chips and salsa (both homeade) were perfect compliments. The food was authentic and delicious. An excellent get-together place with a great atmosphere.
