Went to this place because it was recommended and I looked up reviews. Seemed like a sure thing. Unfortunately it was not. The portions are very small for the cost, the fried seafood I ordered was absolutely flavorless! I asked for extra cole slaw and was charged $2.29 and never received it. You received more french fries, also favorless, and zero salt on them than you did seafood. I ordered fried clams and fried oysters… total bill came to $48.58!! Absolutely disgusted and will never go again, nor recommend to anyone. You want good fried seafood and other foods for the money, go to Cornish Maine and eat at Bayhaven. Apparently a seafood restaurant that’s inland is the standard, even for those close to the ocean and coast.

Good food and good service. I’ve been to Richard’s a couple of times. The first time we had the most friendly waitress on the planet. The food was more than we expected in taste and amount. Some may say it’s a little pricey, but it’s actually real local food. It’s worth it. The second outing was the same experience. Let’s not forget they have the best ice cream in town…Shaine’s of Maine! They don’t offer a huge variety of flavors, but again, what they have is worth it.
The Best in York County. Richard’s Seafood is simply the best in the area. The food is fresh and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is friendly and peaceful. The staff are superstars. You will not find better in York County.
Overpriced. Not bad for seafood but pretty expensive considering the food is served on paper plates. The chicken tenders were some of the worst I have seen. They also don’t refill beverages. There are plenty of better options in the area.
