Not bad.. We found Phoever Maine to be pretty decent, but not on par with Saigon or Thahn Thahn. The Beef Pho was a bit fatty and lacked the fresh spice subtleties that the best broths have. The side of veg lack any jalapeno slices. They served it with a good amount of finely sliced beef and well done brisket (Pho #4). The papaya salad also was very good but a bit on the light side for the price. Lastly we tried a bahn mi another decent representation but didn’t wow me. I wouldn’t steer clear, but I’d likely only find myself returning if I was short on time and in the immediate area.
Absolutely hands down the best Pho in the Greater Portland area. Clear and flavorful broth, tender meatballs and local ingredients used to boot! Chicken spring rolls were great came with two dipping sauces and had me wanting seconds. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The venue itself was clean and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend eating here. Prices are reasonable and there are many good dishes to choose from.
Random Find, Great Place!. I’ve had my share of Vietnamese food and this ranks amongst the best. The food is phenomenal! A family run place that’s very authentic from the flavors to the hospitality.
