My absolute favorite place for ice cream within 50 miles of DC. They make their own product, the staff are always amazing, and everybody is happy there (I mean, ice cream is involved, who isnt happy about ice cream?).If you are ever in Annapolis and want ice cream, THIS is THE place to go.Seriously.No joke.Do yourself a favor.Get some damn ice cream at this place.
Over-the-top ice cream. I was impressed by Jojo’s just down Main Street from Annapolis Ice Cream, and I still like them, but this place outclasses its rival by just a little. The ice cream is made in-house, and it’s slightly richer than Jojo’s. Both have innovative flavours, but Annapolis Ice Cream’s peanut butter-Oreo was so over-the-top with the swirls of not-fully-blended peanut butter that was mixed in that it takes the cake. The scoops from Annapolis Ice Cream were huge, even bigger than JoJo’s, which were not exactly tiny. They were too large to put both on a cake cone, so the friendly kids at the counter gave me a bowl for my scoops and put a cone on top like a hat! All this for only $4.95. Annapolis is lucky to have two ice cream shops as good as this so close together, and I haven’t even tried the others further down Main Street.
