Amazing Thai food and donuts! And no more paper plates!
Carlson’s Thai is Terrific!. While not an attractive place, Carlson’s Thai in Annapolis makes the best Thai food I have ever had. Spicy Green Curry, Green Papaya Saad, Tom Yum Goong, drunken Noodles, Pad Prik top my current list of favorites…no added hot sauce required but not uncomfortably hot! Service is casual, everything served on paper or styrofoam plates, cups and using plastic utensils,l but staff is genuinely kind and friendly! I also love some of their mild dishes, especially beef or chicken with black pepper sauce…not spicy but warming and great on a cool day. Prices are reasonable as are the portions. Love to do take out from here…wish they delivered. I miss Carlson’s when I winter in Florida! The donuts are great too! Don’t be scared off by looks of it…try it!
If there was a Krispy Cremes in town, I’m not sure where I would go!!!??? These are the BESSSSSST donuts!!!
Def a family place!. Carlsons is awesome!! Great Thai food, very authentic but still within reach of all palates. You can tell it’s a family place; there are all ages of the family working/playing there, dont see that too much. Also very very clean, which is nice!
Better food than other Annapolis Thai restaurants at any price. Served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery, this unpretentious eatery deserves a visit.

Great food!! Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Get your food to go.
