Lousy food and service. Went there yesterday for Father’s Day. Have been to many Landry’s owned restaurants. If this had been our first, we would have NEVER gone to another. This HAS to be the LOUSIEST Landry’s owned restaurant. The ONLY plus is the water view. We ordered Blackened Prime Rib with scrambled eggs. Couldn’t understand why the eggs had to be scrambled till they came. They were POWDERED eggs!!!!! Ordered our prime rib medium. Both came out well done. Sent back, again came out well done. Sent back, this time the 25ish year old manager brought out and STILL was well done. Fruit on salad bar was sour. Music was the kind that should be played in a bar NOT a high class restaurant!!! Never go again!!
I like it… but. The food is definitely exceptional but the pricing has gotten silly. I feel like they are shooting for the special occasion diners and loosing the regulars. Was there a sunny Sunday 6-8pm. It was pretty empty. Avoid brunch. The A Team is on at dinner. Brunch is alternates.
BEWARE – Terrible Service. The Chart House was highly recommended by several friends as the best place to eat in Annapolis. If the Chart House is the best – do yourself a favor and eat before you head to Annapolis! The service was terrible! While we were seated relatively quickly, it took almost an 30 mins for our drinks from the bar to arrive and another 1 1/2 hours for our food to arrive. The temperature of the restaurant was soo hot my wife nearly fainted and had to leave before the food arrived. We asked several times to speak with the manager and each time were promised that the manager was on their way. A manager never arrived! Because my wife was not feeling well, I paid the bill even though I was charged the full amount when the waiter could clearly see that several plates were not even touched. I left a note asking the manager to call me – its been 3 days and I still haven’t received a phone call. Given the price, the lack of service and inconsideration to at least offer a simple apology when it was obvious how terrible the service was – not only will we not return to Chart House – I will make sure others are fully aware of the service they can expect to receive!!
