Its kind of expensive for such a hole in the wall… at 2.7 per taco its not exactly cheap. Yes the food is good, im not sure why they give you sliced radishes. For to put them on the tacos? Strange. When i say hole in the wall i mean it, dirt and trash on the floor, houseplants everywhere. I would hate to see the clenliness level of the kitchen. On the positive side however, if you want to go to mexico you could just go here because it looks and feels straight out of the homeland.

Classic. Family run with a couple generations at the shop. Mom splits time between the register (daughter) and the kitchen (husband, brother, or uncle). Tacos are $2.50 and the real-deal two small corn tortillas made fresh with about 3T of your meat (I went Carne Asada, Barbacoa, and Carnitas), diced onion, cilantro and radishes/limes on the side. A salsa verde and rojo are available. The meat was fresh and well seasoned. The carnitas (my gold standard for taquerias) had crispy edges from the grilling and was moist. The Carne Asada was the surprise here. It can tend toward the bland but this was well-seasoned and juicy. The barbacoa (lamb) was not dried out and musky in the way it should be; you could tell it was lamb. There a few tables for eating in but my guess is this place does Land Office business with work crews in the fairly well-to-do neighborhoods around it.
