We were seated at our 6:00 reserved time on Saturday. Although not packed, there was a moderate delay before receiving the entree, perhaps resulting from our dawdling during appetizers. Service was mostly attentive, so give it a B. Our 4 different appetizers and 4 different entrees were all excellent. Decor rather stodgy but we enjoyed looking at each other. Squeaky clean. Proactive on food sources. Very pleased.

RRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP OOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. When I made our reservations for MOTHER’S DAY at 1 P.M. the person taking the reservation just happened to forget to tell me that until 2 P.M. the restaurant only served buffet! And even though we did not get seated until after 1:30 P.M they would not let us order from the menu!Well the buffet turned out to be PIG SLOP! I refused to eat any more than one bite and had them take it away, so I would not have to smell their swill!I have eaten there at regular hours and although expensive the food was sound! However, I will no longer go to this restaurant, because if they are willing to serve this swill to our mothers, what will they serve me if I ever went there again!
If I was being executed at dawn. I would order the grilled calamari as my last meal. Outrageously good
Best Restaurant in Town. My Husband and I are regulars at Cafe Mezzanote and we highly recommend it to everyone we know. We have never had a bad meal, the service is always great and the emplyees have taken the time to learn our names. We always feel welcome and comfortable I attempt to try a new dish everytime we go, because there are so many options to choose from, but my favorite meal is the Chicken Principessa. Also, Cafe Mezz has the best cream of crab soup ever, and I am very picky about my cream of crab soup. Cafe Mezz has a a great drink menu. The wine list and martini list will satisfy the pickiest drinker. We really enjoy going to happy hour. The martinis are so creative and reasonably priced. If you are looking for amazing Italian food at a reasonable price, please please please try Cafe Mezzanotte!!!
We will never go back!. Cafe Mezzanotti’s food was very pricy, service was extremely slow, and the food was not good at all. Very dissapointing!
