A Family Favorite. My family has been going to El Salto for over a decade and have enjoyed each visit. I highly recommend that you start out with a big bowl of queso to dip your freshly made chips into. Then venture into any of their authentic Mexican dishes with inexpensive combos that will leave you full and satisfied. Most of my family goes for the fajitas or the especial la casa, both of which are an experience. The homemade margaritas are on point and you’ll find a wide variety of speciality drinks not offered at most places.
My favorite Mexican place!! I choose this place over any other
First walk-in we were not greeted for at least ten minutes. The hostess stand is lacking. You are served chips and there version of salsa. It tastes more like tomato a paste then authentic salsa. Food came quickly and was amazing. I am a vegitarian and my husband is a big meat man.
Wasn’t brought the food I ordered. Good prices, but no flavor. I’m new to the area, but there must be better Mexican restaurants around. I wouldn’t recommend this place
I had a terrible meal here. I ordered one of the steak dinners that was recommended. The steak was so tough that it was inedible. I complained and nothing was done about it until I called the waitress back a second time and asked for something else. I thought I couldn’t go wrong with a burrito but I was wrong. The plate was hot, the beef was cool inside the shell and oversalted. Their was some cheese melted over the top and some red sauce that tasted of raw chili pepper. With no other accompaniments at all. No sour cream, etc. This turned in to a very disappointing evening after anticipating a good Mexican meal. The margarita was very good bit I wish I could have had two more to make for needing to buy dinner somewhere else. I didn’t come expecting a 4 star meal but had hoped for at least an edible meal.
Who doesn’t love this place? Great Mexican food, great service, and cheap! Awesome lunch deals.
My go-to Mexican place. The food is so simple yet addictive. In college, my friends and I once drove through a blizzard to have dinner there. Ah, college. 🙂
