Best crab cakes in Maryland! Scallops simply delicious. Large portions so arrive with an appetite. Their menu has something for every taste. Worth the drive from DC or Bethesda.
I am a little disappointed tonight. Ordered crabcake sandwich from carryout. My fries were burnt and the crabcake was horrible. I left Timbuktu to come to G&M now it seems that I am going to have to find somewhere else to go. I do not know who your cook is or if you changed cooks but you may need to do some training my sandwich was horrible and there is no way that my fries should have been burnt. I really do not think that you deserve 1 star. Maybe zero for tonight.Update: If I could take that one star I would. I called to speak with a manager. A guy named George came on the phone, I explained to George that my fries were burnt and the crabcake sandwich that I ordered was mostly filler, very mushy.George offered me a desert. I informed him that I did not want a desert and that I was very disappointed considering the fact that I came to G&M from Timbuktu (After tasting G&M crabcakes I realized that they were 100% better than Timbukutu).George however informed me that offering me a free desert was the best thing that he could do.When I told him that I am not a desert person he said I do not know what to tell you and maybe you should go back to Timbuktu. As I began to tell George that I am the consumer and that he should not speak to me in this way. He hung up on me.G&M will never get another dime of my money. You should never ever speak to a costumer the way that George spoke to me.
Best crab cakes I’ve ever had!!! A friend began talking about how good they were while driving pass the Baltimore area. G & M was two exits away from our location so of course stopping for a quick snack was a must. I had to see if what my friend was saying was true…Plus, I’m a sucker for crab cakes.Needless to say, he was right! The flavor and portion was worth this detour. Back to the flavor…DELICIOUS!!! Better than any crab cake I’ve had in California (my home state) and other states I’ve had the opportunity to try crab cakes in. Previously, my heart was with Flemings crab cakes as they were the best I’ve had thus far. That has been knocked to the number two slot. Sucks this is located in Baltimore, well sucks for me anyway. I desperately need these in Los Angeles LOL.This was the only item I tried and its flavor was more than enough to snag five stars from me. Excellent crab cakes. I tip my hat off to H & M.Visit date 6/12/2015

Been many times. Crab cakes are outstanding. Cream of crab soup also outstanding. Have had other pasta dishes and they were good too. Desserts are good. Service always good. Try the place.
Great seafood as the previous reviews noted. The restaurant was easy to get to and parking was ample in back. The waitress was superb. Crab cakes were like no other. The shrimp were large and had good flavor. My son had the crab ravioli. That was my favorite.
Haven’t been here in over a decade, and the lines were encouraging.G & M is a solid performer and the great appetizer plate of muscle did not disappoint to kick things off… That, followed up by shrimp stuffed with crab meat was almost seafood overload. Very good!If near the Balt-Wash airport this a a real good place to hit.
