Grillfire is a more upscale restaurant with dinner prices that reflect their sophisticated entre dishes. Perfect for a fancier dinner but if you not looking to splurge then go for brunch or happy hour. Those menusare reasonably priced. We ordered the crab and brie pretzel bites, Cajun Grilled Swordfish, and skirt steak… read the rest of the review at munchingtheglobe.com/george-martins-grillfire/

Our first visit to Grillfire and certainly not our last! The service was warm, courteous and efficient from the moment we entered. Bright smiles and positive energy were only overshadowed by the piping hot food and fresh salad. We both ordered the wings with sweet chili glaze–don’t miss this!!! The crab topped baked potato was EXCELLENT! New go to place on the list.

Not good. Don’t waste your money!. We went to Grill Fire on a Saturday for dinner. Salad was warm and limp. Chicken was dry and tough. Service was absolutely horrible. We had to even ask for water twice and wait more than 15 minutes. Waste of money.

What a waste of a nice space! Went for Sunday brunch. Waited for a hostess to come to desk to seat is! Waited 15 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge our presence! Another 5 for a cup of coffee! By now we should have left, but hey, things happen and they weren’t that busy! I ordered the Western omelet (ham, bell pepper, scallions and cheddar cheese) with side of fruit. Another20 minute wait delivered me (by a expediter) a Who knows omlet with mushrooms, onions and cheddar with hash browns! I tell him it’s wrong and he says he has to get the waiter! 5 minutes pass and I go to find him working behind the bar! I explain its wrongheagrees and says he’ll fix it right away! 2 minutes and here’s the expiditor with my new plate and apologizes and off he goes! I take 1 bite and guess what it’s like warm at best! I ask for the manager who eventually shows and he apologizes and says he pulled inform someone else’s order to take care of me! So he says he’ll personally redo the order. Well another 5 minutes and here come a 3rd omlet nice and hot and Missing scallions! I mention to the waiter and he says could he bring some for the side and I say that’s fine, I’m ready to just leave since my gf has finished her’s at least 10 minutes earlier! Well low and behold here comes the manager to tell me they’re out of scallions and they forgot to order them that morning! This place is a joke beyond belief! Oh, and the manager looks like a deer in headlights! And the fruit was full of watermelon seeds as well! What a joke and be well advised to steer clear of this place unless you plan on just sitting and getting whatever they feel like throw your way!

Consistently superb on every front, plus reasonably priced.. I ate here about five or six times, and almost every single dish was an absolute hit. Excellent service on each visit, with knowledgeable staff and a tasteful atmosphere. The one breakfast I tried was quick and delicious: apple cinnamon french toast. The only minor miss was a chicken parmesan that was a little lackluster. Other than that, I experienced the best burger of my life at Grillfire, as well as some beautiful tables d’hotes. Absolutely stop by Grillfire, whether you’re staying at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve or not! Oh and they serve free cotton candy as dessert, which is both supersaccharine and charming. I skipped this part on a few occasions though, since I was already well satisfied by the first dessert course.

Meh. We’ve experienced better but if you’re big on ambiance, give it a chance.. We’re new to the area and received a discount card for Grillfire upon our move-in across the street. Since this is a neighborhood restaurant, we decided to check it out because it could easily become one of our favorites being that it’s convenient and close to home. The service in the bar/lounge area was mediocre–our server greeted us in a timely manner but we had to wait quite a bit to order. We had salads for starters since we were pretty hungry and had to wait to order. I was disappointed that the salad I got was the salad I never ordered. Luckily, I don’t mind onions and I’m a fan of blue cheese because that salad was loaded with them! Again, it wasn’t the salad I ordered but I settled with it and it was delicious. I’d say overall we were pretty content with our entrees but they weren’t anything spectacular and were a little overpriced. We received our checks and forgot to give our server the discount card. We tried to have him run it afterwards. He hesitated as if he was lying and told us because we had two happy hour drinks on our ticket, the discount wouldn’t be redeemed. The ticket was over $100 and I’m almost certain that he just didn’t want to lose tip money–which wouldn’t have mattered anyhow. I say this because he could’ve accommodated us a little more and offer to split the check up so we could receive our discount. It was our first experience at Grillfire but that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t give them another chance. The cotton candy does give me something to look forward to next time!

We went (party of 6) for our annual Christmas Dinner. They can accommodate gluten free diets which is a huge bonus. The mixed drinks were fantastic and our server was great with our special requests. Everyone enjoyed that they ordered from the menu. The avocado-mango salad was LARGE and yummy. The taco appetizers were large enough to make as your entre if your didn’t share. HOWEVER, I requested a vegetarian meal and was very disappointed. It was probably one of the worst vegetarian dishes I have ever had – and I have had some amazing ones made for me at steak houses. It was just a plate of BLAND vegetables with some marinara sauce thrown on it. Ack. Stick to the menu and you WILL NOT be disappointed. The decor is also very nice. We had reservations and only waited about 5 minutes for our table. No complaints there.
