Secret escape. Love the cove! The food is awesome and the employees are friendly and welcoming. Casual charm mixed with a scenic waterfront view. Our waitress Taylor was wonderful!! Definitely will go back again and again!
Beautiful spot, sit outside. Food runs hot and cold, tonight cold. Cucumbers rotted, crab cake burned on the bottom. Live music plays next door, while bad 80s music plays through the system. Bad combination. Pls get some music from this century, Olivia Newton John, really?????
Md. seafood the way it usedta be. Pirates Cove isn’t fancy, but it’s a good representation of how Maryland seafood used to be. Puts me in mind of the places where families would go for special dinners out in the 1950s and 60s. Good fried oysters, softshell crabs and crabcakes, decently-prepared fish… The decor is a bit spiffier than some of the seafood sheds in the area, which is why a lot of local organizations hold their get-togethers there. My folks liked it enough that we held my dad’s wake there in 2008. Last time I was there, the portions were a bit smaller than they used to be, but I might have caught them on an off day. Overall, Pirates Cove is a fine spot to have traditional Maryland cuisine as you watch the sailboats and seagulls in the marina.
