We have been going to the Killarney sister restaurant, Galway Bay, for years. The beer is authentic Irish and the food is equally as good. Killarney House has the same menu and a different vibe being out in the countryside. Easy to park which is not true for Galway in downtown Annapolis.By far, the best dish in our estimation is Miss Peggy’s Crabcakes. Miss Peggy was a delightful woman that was adopted as an employee when Galway Bay opened in downtown Annapolis. She passed on a few years ago, but her recipe namesake is still what it always was. Fantastic! These rival Fadley’s in Baltimore. They are plump Jumbo Lump Crab with light seasoning and no Old Bay. You can really taste the crab. Everything else from the Corned Beef and Cabbage to the Irish pies are worth the journey. chilltravelers.com
