Linda’s has the best over-stuffed steak subs on the West Side of the Key Bridge (Captain Harvey’s in Dundalk is it’s only competition for great steak subs). The Italian Cheesesteak beats any other I place I know and the Philly Cheesesteak is made as an authentic-recipe Philly Cheesesteak. I knew Linda herself, who held her shop to high stands before she retired, and her family members Mark and Janet continue that tradition. You can expect excellent food no matter what you order.

Tiny spot delivers BIG on taste!. Linda’s Steak is a tiny hole in the wall in Brooklyn Park, across from the fire department–but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in quality and taste. The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks are worth coming here for. Large and cooked fresh while you wait (Or call ahead to avoid having to wait), they take the time to make them right. The grill is always meticulously clean, and the food is delicious. One of the best items on the menu is the Beef Sukiyaki sub with carrots, cabbage, and onions with a brown sauce. It’s the best of both worlds. Linda’s also sells handmade beef/shrimp egg rolls, and an assortment of other american delicacies–including breakfast all day. The regular sandwiches and subs are also great. I have never had anything bad from here, and Jen who works the front counter and phones is a sweetheart. This is deffinitely a hidden gem, but well worth making the effort to find. It’s a strictly carryout/delivery place, but please don’t be afraid to take them some business. They are awesome!
