Just enjoy it for what it is. There’s something about just letting go of pretensions and getting into the show. It’s a unique experience, pagentry, drama, intrigue, and dinner to boot! OK, so the food is just OK, but you get to feel like part of the mob, and watch some fairly skilled jousting, horseriding and choreographed sword play. It’s the Renaissance Festival come to life for your dinnertime entertainment. There’s only 9 locations in the U.S. and one happens to be down the road from you at Arundel Mills. There is actually a good bit of food, all designed to be eaten barbarian-style (no utensils); wet-nap provided at the end of the meal: garlic bread (buttery), tomato bisque (sweet), roasted chicken (moist enough, split breast with wing, lightly seasoned), spare rib (not exactly fall-off-the-bone, bottled sauce), baked potato half, apple turnover (like Pepperidge Farm). Pretend like you’re not too cool for it, and you might have some fun.
