This restaurant is crowded and I don’t really understand why… The food is too basic for the price. for example a Frankfurt sausage with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. The presantation is bad (looks like school restaurant). And a 1.2 liter pitcher of beer is $24 ! Oh well, maybe it’s german food in general that lacks taste and refinement…
Big Disappointment. This place used to be outstanding. Not any more. The menu is not the same. The goulash soup tasted like it came from a can. The sauerbraten is NOT even close to being sauerbraten It is just tasteless meat covered in a sauerbraten like gravy. The red cabbage had no flavor. The staff was rude and knows nothing of German cruise. When I told the waiter that sauerbraten should be marinated, he responded that we can’t do that here. WHAT? I was stunned! This is so disappointing since this was a such a wonderful restaurant for so many years. To add insult to injury, the bad food is expensive. We need to find a good German restaurant in AA county! Avoid this place!
