I absolutely love Chinese food and I try new places whenever I can. So when my brother recommended Sino Cafe, I was extremely excited. Hunan chicken and crab rangoon are usually what I order because they are my favorite, which is probably why I was so disappointed. The crab rangoon were chewy, with barely any filling and the breading was so thick, I am pretty sure that’s all a few of them were. The Hunan chicken was not spicy at all, the flavor was not only bland but tasted as though there was no chicken, only rubber. We also ordered beef and broccoli, which is another Chinese food go-to for us and it was equally disappointing. There was hardly any sauce and and the beef also didn’t taste right, it was rubbery. We’re not sure if bad meat was used, but they were both similar in taste and texture. So if you love Chinese food, I recommend that you stay away from this particular restaurant.

I’ve lived in this neighbourhood for about 5 yrs now and have been going to sinos for a while. They are not the greatest or the most fresh/flavourful, BUT, it gets the job done when you don’t wanna travel far and want something cheap and basic. I never get anything too fancy. Just standard fried rive and vegetable egg role. Besides it family owned and I appreciate their effort.

I’ve had the take-out twice. My first impression was standard-mediocre Chinese take-out. The second order was horrible. There was almost no meat in my Kung Pao chicken, the fried rice was actually inedible with rubbery pork bits

A buddy of mine swears by this place, and I really can’t understand why. I’ve been here probably 3 or 4 times, and it is below average strip mall Chinese. Not fresh, lots of glop, the flavor comes only from the over usage of spices. Every time I eat here, I wonder if it will make me sick. I went to give my buddy the benefit of doubt, can’t do that anymore. I’d rather lose that friendship.

Never had an issues with this place. My order has always been right, I pick up and check before I leave like I do any other place. There shrimp in lobster sauce is delicious.

Do not get food from here. We actually tried the food here twice, after the first disaster, we waited 6 months, and tried again. It was still very bad. The meat had a strange plastic like consistancy and in the end I couldn’t handle eating it. The veggies were okay, but not the freshest. The eggs rolls were dry and barely stuffed. The only positive I can offer is that when one dish was requested extra spicy it really was extra spicy.
