Nice evening… Had a dinner with my daughter on the upper bar deck while the sun went down. Our waitress (Lacy) was very nice and the service was great. The food was excellent. ‘Definitely will visit again.
LOVED this place! Such a fun staff & amazing food! We got the Snow Crab Steamer, the Fisherman’s Platter & for dessert we got the Smith Island Double Chocolate Cake With Salted Caramel Ice Cream. It was pricey for SURE but we decided it was definitely worth it 🙂 yummy
Out of crabs by 4:45, and a limited menu. This place is going downhill..09 Jun, 2012New owner, new menu. Elimination of the hot liquid Choc dessert… tragic!!!!! Crabs still good, crabs cakes great . Bring back Choc dessert, otherwise known as Choc happiness. Btw Kathleen great waitress.
Honestly, we wanted to like this restaurant. The people were friendly and helpful but there were several problems. Perhaps they were overwhelmed because of Memorial Day but service was slow, drinks were never refilled, one side came out wrong, the mac n cheese was sour and we had to send it back, we asked for extra bread (twice) and it never came, scallops in the pasta were rubbery (overcooked). On the upside, the crab balls and fried oysters were good, crab cakes too. Overall the food was tasty but the problems mentioned should be fixed. If you sit outside in summer, beware, it’s hot!
Skippers on the bay. What a wonderful place to eat!!! Friday night all you can eat buffet is outstanding. Crabs have always been full and plenty to go around. Price is very fair after all your paying for seafood. Service is outstanding!! What a great group of servers and bartenders!! I try and make it every friday night when possible. Heard a horrid rumor they may be closing in April….I hope not, there isn’t another seafood place that’s as well done as this one. Menu items are delicious. Main course meals are the tops. I would and do recommend this to all I know.
Note to self: Do not eat at this restraurant ever again!!!! Tables are always dirty-service is always slooooow–food is fair but extremely over priced-be prepared to spend $25 a person-that is if you drink ice tea or soda.
Good Food – Great Crabs!. We go there every Tuesday for $2 crabs. and $2 beers. Food is always good. Highly recommended if your in Deale!
