Have had better. Having traveled to Afghan and being Arab myself, i thought that i would give this place a try. First, not a very child friendly place. I looked over the menu and saw that they had HUMUS, but what I received looked more like what my son leaves in his diaper. It was bland, runny, and just nasty. I have had better Humus from Walmart. The Lamb was ok and Samosa middle of the road (if you like samosas wrapped in egg roll wrappers). Over all the food wasnt worth what they charge. I wont ever return nor do I recommend it.
Wonderful food, great people. Awe Shack has some of the best Afghan food that I’ve had anywhere. The Kebabs are extremely tender, reasonably spiced, and very, very tasty. Save some rooms for the sides too, because they are just as good. The best part, very reasonably priced. Dinner for two, including sides and tip: ~$35
Was very pleased. Food was excellent. Service was friendly. It took a bit for our order but was worth the wait.
The Awe Shack is an awesome find for the money! Friendly staff, good food, and very, very reasonable prices. Look for the specials, get some tea, stay for dessert
