Sloooow. I went to Flameworks at 6 on a Sunday. I brought my two small kids only. The 3 of us were the only people in there until another table of 4 came in several minutes later. The crab ball appetizer came out relatively fast. My kids mac n cheese cane out before the app was done. About 35 minutes later, still no burger. No one came to the table in that time to apologize or give an update. When I asked for the check, I was told it was just about ready and that sometimes it takes longer because it is a wood fire grill. I am curious how long it would be if I ordered a steak. If they are not able to keep the grill hot enough for a single burger, I am not going to waste my time waiting around another order in the future. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that deliver good food in the time expected for it to be delivered to a table.

When a small, quick lunch counter place is hit or miss, its okay cause you’re probably spending a matter of a few bucks. When you’re spending ATLEAST $50 for a dinner for two and between $200-$350 for a descent size group, hit or miss shouldn’t be the standard for a restaurant but it seems Flameworks is fine with it. I’ve been three times and the first two there were items that were fantastic while some were dreadful, like the overcooked burger served to me who ordered mine mid rare and my fiance asked for hers well, but got hers bathing in blood. Shows someone would rather get a ticket out of their way rather then make sure the customer will enjoy the food. There may not be one big problem, but letting a lot of little things slide doesn’t sit well with me when I’m paying these kinds of prices.

Critic. Had a bad experience. High prices, small portions, bad business practices.

BEST BURGER. Best burgers around. Great place to have lunch and everything I have tried has been awesome. HIGHLY recommend!

So far so good. I have been twice to Flameworks and both times have really enjoyed my burger and fries. I admit that the wait is quite long once you place your order, but have to say that the wait was worth it. Love the fact that you can bring your own alcohol. I just bring some beer and wait for a one of a kind burger.I can see how this restaurant might not be the best for families with small children due to the wait. I had no problem with the wait staff, although they are young and maybe not quite as attentive as a more experienced waiter might be. I personally have no complaints, HOWEVER, after reading a review where the owner replied I was totally turned off by his attitude toward the customer. No matter what one might think, as a owner you must stay professional….it’s called customer service. And although the customer might not be right, or may just be one of those TYPE people, you have to grin and bear. A small establishment can live or die on word of mouth…I personally would hate to see flameworks go…I think they are just firing up !!

Mr mrs. Ty. As a family of 6 we have gone to your establishment at least 10 times. Our past experience was not good. The food preparation was way over cooked and the app soggy with grease. The fries were very greasy. We made no complaints as per request of my wife. In the car we did agree and the charge of over 100 dollars was not worth the value. But worst of all was the attitude of your server. She copped an attitude when asked why we waited over an hour and did not serve us pleasantly. On the positive the young men that have waited on us are always polite and willing to work for their 20 percent tip. We have decided not to come in the future. Her name was Nicolette.
