Disappionted. The food was OK if not a little expensive for what it is. The servers are pretty bad, very unprofessional. I could handle the mediocre meal but not when the server has an attitude. I will not return.
Great View and Good Food. I visited the Island View Waterfront Caf yesterday for the first time. It will not be the last! The view is spectacular, service was wonderful and the food was very good! I had the Grilled Salmon Salad…Wonderful! My Sister had the Shrimp Salad platter which she loved. My Brother and Brother-in-law both choose the burgers and were very pleased. Their only issue was not enough French Fries! I said better for your waistlines which didn’t go over all that well. Men! Can’t wait to return!!
What?!. I don’t know who’s casting all these votes, unless it’s the owner. I’ve never had anything decent to eat at this place. The owner is also the cook. Why? Because he’s too cheap to hire a real cook. They buy premade frozen stuff, throw it in the oven or deep fryer and call it homemade. Ridiculous. The setting is as nice as you could want, romantic water views, nice dining room, blah blah … does NOT make up for the food.
