Dinning in has been pleasurable but do not do carry out!! 3 out of 5 of our meals were incorrect. Missing fries, cheeseburger given with just patty and cheese (no condiments either), Chicken Alfredo looked like a soup instead of a meal even though asked for them to go light on the sauce. Called as soon as we got home and the hostess was very apologetic but asked the Manager what she could do for us and the answer was to bring all thee food back. I said we could not do that since we had already waited the half hour for food to get done plus the drive time I was looking at close to another hour to feed my family. The manager said bring food back or nothing. RUDE!!! Then I was told she would call be back later and never heard from her. I in the last two weeks eaten in there twice (graduation party for my son) and spent $189,$65 and last nights dinner was another $65.00. They have lost my business due to the Manager’s attitude alone!!!! Don’t Bother
Love the Crabcakes!. I now live in Florida but every time we visit family at least one trip is to eat @ Jad’s. We come for the crabcakes (as good as mine-homemade) which have little filling but large, jumbo pieces of crab. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor & order the crabcake!

Down the drain. Since they opened another location, this original location seems to have been left to rot. The food has gone way down in quality in the last year, and the service is terrible. They should either hire a real cook, or give up on trying to keep up appearances. People still go there because of its long history as a great local place to eat, but eventually they will get turned off by repeated bad experiences.
Favorite crab cake and cream of crab soup place. You can beat what you get for the price here. Both the cream of crab soup and the crab cake are full of back fin meat. And the crab cakes are huge! All for a more than reasonable price. Plus their sides of sweet potato mash and stewed tomatoes are tasty.
Best Cream of Crab Soup Yet!. Friends and I go to Jad’s for Karaoke on Thursday nights.Jad’s menu is a combination of Mom’s home cooked classics, some good Baltimore seafood with some awesome additions thrown in for good measure. I like to start off with their classic cream of crab soup, thick and creamy with plenty of crab meat. I do like to add some sherry which takes it to another level. Ribs, burgers, country fried steak and an awesome Jambalaya with shrimp, chicken or my favorite combo of both. I’m still working my way through the extensive menu. Decent portions and good prices. Waite staff a little slow at times, but you can’t have everything.Good Karaoke show on Thursday’s with Joey McCann the Music Man. They also have Joe C doing Karaoke on weekend. (call for schedule) With a lot or restaurants in the neighborhood, I would say that the good food keeps people coming back.
