Strawberry Pie. Quaint little place with friendly folks and fantastic homemade strawberry pie, with a wonderful crust (pie not people). The coffee was great too and got it at a very reasonable price; I mean where can you get a piece of pie for less than $3.00?
Awesome!. There was only one reason I wanted to try Jakob’s Place…..they serve Smith Island Cake!I live in PA but my husband drives past there every evening on his way home from work. He stopped at Jakob’s tonight and he was very pleased with the service and what they have done tothe place. The food was amazing! We were both very happy with our dinners. Yummy! The prices were a bit lower thanother places. So glad they serve my favorite cake! Jakob’s is a great deal closer than Salisbury.I wish they would put their menu on a website. Would be helpful. I think my husband and I will bestopping at Jakob’s quite a bit now. 🙂
DO YOU WANT GOOD FOOD? DO YOU WANT GREAT PRICES? DO YOU WANT EXCELLENT PEOPLE WORKING HARD TI MAKE YOU HAPPY?!? Then trust me when I tell you this, Jakob’s Place is where it’s at. The family that runs this place treats everyone like family and are the kindest people I have ever met. I come here almost everyday and am still stunned at how they always manage to make you feel special…so go here, find out for yourself, don’t take my word for it. 🙂
I’ve lived on Falls Rd for 10 years, and have witnessed this small corner store change owners a few times. I can honestly say the current owners are really taking care of business. The food is cooked with love and there is once again a sense of community in this area because of it. They have excellent cheese steaks and delicious breakfast sandwhiches. Now they have 20 flavors of ice cream!!! They also make gigantic clubs. Oh and on top of it all, its dirt cheap. Expect to only pay 5 dollars or less for a full stomach.
Great breakfast stop. Breakfast sandwiches well worth the money – and great coffee too!With few places out here on Falls Road, I was willing to accept just a hot cuppa and a cello wrapped snack – I was plesently suprised to get a very good ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and excellant codffe to go with it. I ‘ve found a quick place to catch breakfast those AM times when cerail just won’t do! Total bii was $4+ change!!!
