Came here for restaurant week January 2017, low lighting old world style furniture,, slight hum of conversation, creating a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is tucked away in the woods and it has a wrap around porch which contributes to its cozy upscale feel upon entering. Service was ok, we were seated right by the kitchen, but being a foodie, its also nice to get a glimpse of the back of the house. Service was a little slow, entrees took the most time, server was polite and very knowledgeable about the menu, he knew how to sell it. Appetizer was buffalo fried cauliflower, I prefer honey mustard instead of bleu cheese dressing which they accommodated–very delicious, not greasy, not too spicy, just the right amount of heat in the back of your throat. Flourless chocolate cake and banana bread pudding were for dessert, both were very tasty. They also served three different types of bread in the bread basket with maplebutter. Entree was there spin on Coq Au Vin which was tasty. They also have music on the weekends, would love to go back for that and return during the warmer months when you can sit on the rocking chairs on the porch.
