Typical neighborhood bar. I only stopped because I was hungry and it was close to the grocery store. Also, I was raised in Essex and the Tempo has been there as long as I can remember so I figured it must be decent. Surprisingly, it was! I had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was well cooked and flavorful (for a bar). Staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m the area.
