I went to Gordon Biersch the other day for a luncheon. I ordered the Crab Dip & Archock Dip I don’t know what happend to the crab because their was no crab in the dip at all, more like all Archock..So don’t order this.D.
New Year’s Eve Dinner. Come join us on New Years Eve at Gordon Biersch Harbor East. Four course pre-fix menu, with a bottle of champagne, for $90 per couple. Reservations recommended.
Good for a touristy spot. Most of the stuff we’ve had has been pretty good, and we have been a few times. The blackened mahi sandwich was good, although it was nicely spiced but not really blackened. The garlic fries are very garlicky, but good if you like that sort of thing. Pasta was pretty good, and their hefeweizen is great. The service was also pretty good. It does tend to be packed with after work professionals trying to impress each other, so avoid those times if possible.
Disappointed. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and have driven by a few times. We went for a date night a group of us. I ordered one of the low cal drinks which was so sweet I could not drink it. The food was good but for what they are charging it’s not worth it. We got the ahi appetizer- 5 pieces of jolly rancher sized tuna- HUGE rip off. The crab dip was a decent size portion but if you are serving crab dip in baltimore it has to be good. This was OK. I got the lobster and shrimp tacos which were delicious. It came with a side of white rice which I found odd and a bunch of black beans slopped on top- very unappealing. The atmosphere was the best part- our server was also very nice. I would not go back here when you can get must better seafood dishes at better prices all around baltimore.
Depends. On one occasion, patrons gawked and jeered, maybe the Bavarian malt.? I’ll M&E the place. The following week, a blonde frauline smiled and was friendly.Comes down to the luck of the crowd/ambience.
Food/Beers were solid! However, the service was HORRIBLE…Female Bartender didn’t even know what drafts they had…and remember, it’s a brewery. I was rushed all night by same bartender…very RUDE! Good Food/Beer is on every corner, I Won’t Go Back to this place…
Kobe Sliders. Three american-style kobe beef mini burgers topped with a dill pickle and mustard sauce on housemade rolls.
