Service is Lacking. Went to dinner here for our 10th Anniversary and we received some of the worst service we’ve ever had in a restaurant, or anywhere. We were told the wait would be about an hour. No problem, we’ll hang at the bar and have a drink until a table opens up. After an hour and half passed, we still had no table and nobody ever came to talk to us, to apologize, to let us know that we were next etc. We asked what was happening and were told that it would be any minute. 30 minutes later, still no table – 2 HOURS OF WAITING FOR A TABLE. WE finally left, letting the hostesses know how disappointed we were (we were not rude at all). They could not have cared less about us. I will never try this place or Mama’s on the Halfshell again. I hate places that think there too good to treat people with respect. Terrible experience. We left and went to Mt Washington Tavern and had a lovely (late) dinner with fantastic service.
This place is awesome! Lots of food!
Told 60 mins for a table, at 90 mins we were still watching the manager Mike seat his friends before the people on the list. 96 mins still waiting. Unless you are a friend of Mike’s don’t bother putting your name on list. You’ll be all night.

Great local dive….. cold beer and surprisly tasty food…..The staff are genuine and very nice…get a BOH, it’s the law….
This was my second and last time eating at Nacho Mama’s. Staff and owner were rude and unaccommodating. Our drink & food orders were incorrect. One person in our group waited an additional ten minutes to receive her meal (when we had already waited 50 minutes for our food)…not to mention her meal was still made incorrectly (beware if you have food allergies as your meal may not be made with your specific dietary requests). The owner would not offer any sort of apology regarding the matter and spoke to us in a demeaning and unprofessional manner. Other customers in our section agreed that the way we were spoken to was out of line. Also, take note of automatic gratuity (no wonder our waitress was rude, she knew she’d still get her 18% tip). Totally ridiculous!! Next time I’ll just go to Dick’s Ladt Resort where this type of behavior is actually part of your dining experience.
